Building Collapses, One Killed Instantly & Several Injured
According to the news reaching our news desk, one person has been confirmed dead and two other have seriously injured after a building collapsed.
While speaking to our reporter, the Deputy PRO KM ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, a building belonging to Dorcus Nakassi in Katale Bukwenda, Wakiso District, collapsed, killing one builder.
Oscar Nsamba, a 19-year-old local inhabitant, was killed, while two others were injured: Ibra Muganzi, 22, and Damasco Mugogo, a 19-year-old constructor.
The body of the deceased was recovered by the police and taken to the Mulago city mortuary.
Police want to speak with the site engineer, who has only been known as Rashid. He’s presently on the run.
